Cynhelir Cyfarfod Cyffredinol Arbennig o Gyfeillion Ynys Tysilio ar ddydd Mawrth Awst 9fed am 4 yp yn Eglwys y Santes Fair.
Mae angen cynnal y cyfarfod er mwyn cymeradwyo newidiadau bychain o’r Cyfansoddiad a gymeradwywyd ar 15/09/2021. Mae angen gwneud y newidiadau er mwyn i’r Comisiwn Elusennau allu ein cofrestru fel elusen. Mae’r Comisiwn (a’r Cyfansoddiad ei hun) eisiau i ni gymeradwyo’r newidiadau mewn Cyfarfod Cyffredinol, a’i gofnodi’n ffurfiol.
Mae’r neges yma wedi ei anfon i chwi oherwydd eich bod yn ol ein rhestr yn aelod o’r Cyfeillion, ac wedi cyfrannu yn y gorffennol.
Mae’r newidiadau a gynigiwyd yn dilyn adborth gan y Comisiwn Elusennau’n cynnwys : -

A Special General Meeting of Cyfeillion Ynys Tysilio / Friends of Church Island will be held on Tuesday 9th of August at 4pm in St Mary’s Church.
The meeting is necessary in order to approve some minor changes to the Constitution that we approved on 15/09/2021. These changes are required by the Charity Commission to enable our registration as a charity. The Commission (and our Constitution itself) requires us to approve the changes at a General Meeting, which is formally minuted.
This message has been sent to you because according to our records you are a member of the Friends, having made donations in the past.
The changes proposed following feedback from the Charity Commission include:

Mae’r newidiadau a gynigiwyd yn dilyn adborth gan y Comisiwn Elusennau’n cynnwys : -
- Datganiad wedi ei adolygu a beth “yw Pwrpas yr Elusen” fel awgrymwyd gan y Comisiwn. Nodyn i’w gynnwys ynglyn a’r cyfyngiadau ynglyn ag oedran ymddiriedolwyr yr elusen – i fod dros 18 oed.
- Cyfeiriad at arweinydd Bro Tysilio fel “ex-officio” i symud o adran yr “Ymddiriedolwyr” i adran yr “Aelodau” – i warchod rhag amwysedd.
- I ychwanegu is-ran ynglyn a “Budd-daliadau a thaliadau i ymddiriedolwyr” gan ddefnyddio geiriad y patrymlyn a argymellwyd gan y Comisiwn.
- I ychwanegu rhan newydd i ganiatau cyfarfodydd digodol er enghraifft Zoom.
- I ychwanegu nodyn newydd i ofyn i’r ymddiriedolwyr hysbysu’r Comisiwn petae’r elusen yn darfod.
- I ychwanegu nodyn newydd yn caniatau i’r ymddiriedolwyr hyblygrwydd i wneud gwelliannau bach heb yr angen i gynnal cyfarfodydd arbennig ychwanegol.

The changes proposed following feedback from the Charity Commission include:
- a revised statement of the “Purpose of the Charity” as suggested by the Commission
- inclusion of a note about the age restrictions for charity trustees – to be over 18
- the reference to the Bro Tysilio incumbent as an ex-officio to move from the “Trustees” section, to the “Members” section – to remove ambiguity.
- to add a sub-section about “Benefits and payments to trustees” using wording from a template recommended by the Commission.
- to add a new section allowing the use of digital meetings such as Zoom.
- to add a new note requiring the trustees to notify the Commission if the charity is dissolved.
- to add a new note allowing the trustees flexibility to make minor amendments without needing additional special meetings
